My miracle is here

I will post all the details later…  The short version is that baby Matthew is here.   He was born at 1:22 a.m. on April 23.  He weighed 7 lb, 8 oz and was 20 inches long.  He is beautiful.
I got my natural birth.  I arrived at the hospital around 11:30 p.m. and he was born about 2 hours later.   My doula was AWESOME and I couldn’t have done it without her.  Those last few hours hurts like a *%$^ so I am proud of myself.  Like I said, birth story details will come later.
He nursed right after birth like a champ, he was so alert.  We are getting the hang of nursing so far I think and I’m glad he seems to have a good latch.
We just got home this evening and are all doing well.

He is beautiful.  I can’t believe how much I love him.  I can’t believe he is finally here in my arms.  When he was in the nursery I cried because I couldn’t stand to be away from him.  My whole heart is wrapped around his tiny little fingers and I absolutely love it.
